Riverside County Works!

The Riverside County Board of Supervisors authorized the formation of a nonprofit affiliate of the County’s Workforce Development department in 2016. Riverside County Works is a California, public benefit corporation.The corporation was granted 501(c)(3) status on January 24, 2017 by the Internal Revenue Service. Tax-deductible donations will be accepted. The primary purpose of Riverside County Works is to support and promote the County’s workforce development system. In particular, Riverside County Works will provide funding and/or administration for programs and services that support the Riverside County Economic Development Agency, the development of the local workforce, local youth who are preparing to enter the workforce, and local businesses.

NOTE: All meeting notes will be approved at the next month’s meeting to meet the Brown Act Requirements (does not apply to the regional committees’ meeting notes)
