Riverside County’s new Youth Opportunity Center in Indio will help young people build impactful career pathways. The center strengthens a network of six Youth Opportunity Centers across the county, each designed to support residents ages 16 to 24 as they navigate education, employment, and early adulthood.

The Indio Youth Opportunity Center offers a comprehensive set of no‑cost services aimed at helping young adults gain confidence, skills, and direction. These include:

  • Career exploration and work-readiness training
  • Mentoring and counseling
  • College and job preparation support
  • Tutoring and access to technology

The center is funded through Riverside County’s Housing and Workforce Solutions Department and is part of a broader countywide effort to match young residents with the skills and resources needed to thrive in a competitive economy.

For many young adults, the transition from school to work can feel overwhelming. The Indio Youth Opportunity Center provides a structured, supportive environment where they can explore career options they may not have known existed, build practical skills through workshops and hands-on training, apply at no cost, and access resources that help reduce barriers to employment.
